Surplus chips are unused components from production overstock or cancelled orders — they are essentially new but may have older date codes. Used chips have been installed in equipment and professionally harvested — they show signs of prior use but are functional. Refurbished chips have undergone additional processing like re-balling, re-tinning, or remarking — we always disclose refurbishment status and grade. Each category has different pricing and is clearly labeled in our quotes.

Yes, we support sample requests for most used chip inquiries. Typical sample quantities are 5-50 units depending on the part. Samples are invoiced at the quoted per-unit rate plus shipping. If you proceed with a bulk order after sample approval, sample cost can be credited toward the bulk purchase. Sample lead time is typically 3-7 business days for in-channel parts.

We offer a 30-day warranty against functional failure for all used chips (excluding physical damage or improper handling). If chips are not as described in our condition disclosure, we accept returns with full refund. For custom or specially sourced lots, return terms are negotiated at the time of order. All warranty terms are documented in the sales confirmation.
